Privacy Policy

How we handle the personal information you share with us.

Draft for ministry review. This page is a plain-language draft prepared with the website redesign. It should be reviewed with proper legal advice and confirmed by the ministry before being treated as the final policy.

Last reviewed: the date this website was published.

1. Who we are

Hisdayspring Evangelical Ministries International (“the ministry”, “we”) operates this website. You can reach us at hello@hisdayspring.org or +234 906 619 2155.

2. What we collect

Contact form: your name, email address, subject and message (including any phone number you choose to include).
Prayer request form: your name, email address, phone number and the contents of your request. Prayer requests often contain sensitive personal information.
Newsletter: your email address.
Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and performance.

3. How we use it

To respond to your message or enquiry.
To pray with you and, where you ask, to follow you up pastorally.
To send programme updates if you subscribe to the newsletter. Every newsletter will include a way to opt out.

4. Who can see your information

Messages and prayer requests go to the church office and are handled by the staff and pastors who need them to respond and pray. Prayer requests are treated as personal and are not published or shared publicly. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

5. Storage and retention

Submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond and to care for members, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

6. Your rights

Nigeria’s data protection laws (including the Nigeria Data Protection Act) give individuals rights over their personal data — such as asking what data we hold about you, asking for corrections, and withdrawing consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@hisdayspring.org.

7. Third-party services

When you watch our services, you leave this site and use YouTube (Google), which applies its own privacy policy. Clicking links to Facebook or other platforms is likewise governed by those platforms.

8. Changes to this policy

If the ministry updates this policy, the revised version will be published on this page.
